About Park Hill Gardens

Park Hill Gardens, located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, offers exceptional nursing care for low care, high care and dementia specific needs. The purpose-built facility is staffed 24 hours a day by Registered Division 1 Nurses, Registered Enrolled Division 2 Nurses and Personal Care Attendants.

Park Hill Gardens is fortunate to be part of the Mornington Retirement Village and Shearwater Apartments, offering priority admission to its residents whom may require comprehensive nursing needs in the future.

Our accommodation has been specifically designed to ensure all residents enjoy the comfort and privacy of a single room with full ensuite. Our facilities are continually being upgraded to reflect advancements in technology and aged-care. The recent addition of a non-obtrusive CCTV security monitoring service, complementing the 24-hour emergency call system, has only added to the sense of safety and security felt by all residents and staff.

At Park Hill Gardens, we have surpassed all accreditation standards as inspected by the Standards and Accreditation Agency (Department of Health and Ageing) over the past 12 years. On each occasion, the auditors have been most impressed with the professionalism and high level of care offered. Our next review, and subsequent re-accreditation, is due to take place in 2012.

In addition to the excellent qualified nursing care provided by our Registered Division 1 Nurses, Registered Enrolled Division 2 Nurses and Personal Care Attendants, many and varied activities are held each day to encourage and stimulate interaction amongst the residents and staff. Residents enjoy cooking classes, garden club, quiz afternoons, bingo, active games, art classes, concerts, shopping trips and much more.
